I’ve inquired to the 3 candidates for membership into theCWTgroup that were assigned to me. Greg Bethard respectfully declined siting he is not doing any consulting any longer. Full time on the Pagel Ponderosa Dairy. Not sure about the other individuals I contacted.
Last weekend I attended an event in Washington DC called the Dairy Influencers Meeting. Had a good chat with an independant nutritionist, Dave Michalak, MME Nutrition, Greencastle PA. Dave was formerly with ADM and then Pennfield and now a solo independant. VA Tech graduate and no negative agenda that I have discovered after speaking with the mill president where he toll mills much of his feed.
Unless someone else knows a reason not to extend him an invitation, I beleive he is the kind of consultant we wish to have in the group.

Dave sounds like a good candidate. As we extend the private group, Daryl might invite Greg to be part of the Private site without access to the main consulting site. There are a lot of good things happening on the site at the moment.
I’m not this familiar with this individual and will go with your recommendation.
Director team…so do we have policy on when it is OK or not OK to invite someone to theCWTgroup? At our Detroit mtg we canvassed everyone in attendance about every candidate. Going forward we’ll have more inquiries and suggestions. The case at hand, I have suggested Dave Michalak but not sure when I send him the guest details to visit the site. Two thumbs up comments so far.
Might I suggest something?…let’s treat responses to new subscribers like a ‘regets only’ invitation you might receive in the mail. If you don’t respond it is a favorable sign to invite the new candidate. If you know of a reason NOT to invite then your expected to respond accordingly.
i suggest that we implement a 72 hour period. If there are no “NO” votes and there is no clear violation of established rules, we should proceed.
I hope everyone is finding the “subscribe to comments” section useful.
I like that idea Larry, it will help keep things moving.
Also, I’ve met Dave a couple times and I think he would be a good addition.
