Ensiling of wet brewers grain

This question came from one of nutrition consultants in Ukraine – Full disclosure, I work for AFP selling SilagePro in my day job which he represents in Ukraine. Second, Dr. Kemp and I will be visiting Ukraine soon.

“Ensiling of wet brewers grain in plastic bags (high moisture, very high protein). Can we apply SilagePro for it, or should we go for chemical inoculant? The same question with sugar beet pulp.”

I have no experience with applying either bacteria or an acid to wet brewers or sugar beet pulp in an AgBag

Yes can be done. See video wet brewers. Bags are gravity filled right from truck.

Have you ever tried putting anything like Propionic acid on it to preserve better? I will pass the Video to my Ukraine nutritionist.

You know more about preservatives than I do. But my initial reaction is, not necessary and with a fairly wet product like Wet brew you would need a fairly high level to be effective and that might not be cost effective?
