In Mike’s afternoon session, he argues that the lysine and methionine values should be expressed as a ration of energy. His recommendations are Lysine 3.03 g/Mcal ME and Methionine 1.14 g/Mcal ME.

Just starting to look at this – probably makes sense to evaluate AA relative to energy. As with looking at Lys and Met in other ways – g/d or % of MP, the question is are these targets practically obtainable given current milk price and specifically milk protein price relative to the cost to achieve them.
