I checked with a person who has experience with both programs and unfortunately he said other than by hand there isn’t an easy way to convert PC Dart data to Dairy Comp.
Along this topic line there is a relatively new program called Bovisync that I’ve been told is really good. Has anyone heard or used it?
Jon, I have to beg a difference with you about ‘PCDart Sucks’. I work with herds that have DC305 and other that have PCDart and even one that has both systems. Both software platforms are very useful but operate very differently. It the right person’s hand either system is excellent. If either system ‘sucks’ it is because the operator hasn’t learned how to drive the bus.

This is from Dan Lyons with VAS: You can request stf file from DRMS if they are testing. Then it can be converted very easily.
Problem i have found is the customers accepting to spend the money it takes to get DC305, i just started a new dairy on DC305 and it took a little over $4,000 to have the transfer from PC Dart to DC305 and to make the interface between Afi Farm and DC305.

I echo Marcelo who mentions the stf file – STF stands for Standard Transfer File as I remember. The capability to output this stf file used to be in the PC-DART program itself, but somewhere along the way DRMS removed this function from PC-DART and forced users to contact DRMS directly.
I just had a herd obtain the stf file from PCDart for a import of data into the Lely Robot software. Cost was only $50 but not 100% of the herd and individual cow data transfered!

I heard you can rent DC305 instead of buying it. There seems to be a difference between management and analysis. For example I have a herd with low days dry for first lactation animals. I plot days dry versus week 9 milk in DC305 but not sure how to evaluate in PCDart.
Your report is easy in PCDart but difficult for me to show you in CWT. Not sure how to attach screenshot JPG files that will walk you through the process. Please help.

DRMS may have a $$ charge to produce stf files.
